I am getting a little discouraged here... I have been raw for about 3 months and did fantastic, loved all the food and craved for salads everyday, but now that I am pregnant nothing tastes good anymore... :( I have absolutely no appetite for anything, besides I am often cold and I feel like I eating something warm... I like to drink fresh juices but I understand I can't live like that either. It's just so strange that all the recipes I used to make don't sound good anymore. What sounds appealing are apples, bananas, tomatoes and some nuts...

Any one else went through this while pregnant?

You can read Jinjees journals at www.thegardendiet.com

In the mean time ;you can go to the banana at the top of the page (for past posts); as this has been discussed a lot.
While waiting for replies.!

Good luck

I suggest going with that then.

You can make a nice waldorf salad with sliced apples and walnuts, shredded cabbage and a squirt of OJ.

Or apple wedges with almond butter.

You can make banana shakes, or banana ice cream.

A banana cream pie with a nut crust.

You can make yourself some tomato soup with basil, gently warmed, or any tomato soup recipe...or some chopped tomatoes over zuchinni noodles.

Sound like you can do a lot with the stuff your craving. Search under your food in the recipe section, you'll likely find all kinds of other stuff.

Is there any way to access her journal without paying for it? Every time that I go to her site it seems like you have to pay to get anything from it. Unless I am doing it wrong.

Thanks

Thanks goddess_girl, I did some search and found some info. I think I will just have to stick to mono foods at this time. I know this will pass as soon as I am into the second trimester, so I will just have to hang in there.... :)
