I don't know what La Choy is, yet no, it's not the same as anything. It is what it is ~ whatever it is. (no one seems to know).

No it's not like Lachoy, it's liquid amino acids and my opinion is its soooo gross ! I got so sick first time I tired it. BUT some people love it and use it often.
Do a search and you will find lot's of discussion on it.

LaChoy = Mass marketed Asian products in SAD stores. One of them being soy sauce/topping sauces.

Braggs isn't the same, actually. If you're looking for a good soy sauce, go with a Nama Shoyu or its raw comparisson.
