Lemon cookie recipe

:D Thank you for the lemon cookie recipe. It calls for cashew flour can I substitute ground up walnuts instead?
Is that you way you make the flour by grinding it first?
I love the recipe but I don't want to make it wrong.

I've only used cashews, but if you like walnuts, I say GO FOR IT!!! You should experiment as much as possible---you never know what new tasty treat you'll end up with!!! Most of the time I just toss whatever nuts, seeds or fruits that I have an abundance of into a grinder, processor, or blender....and just hope for the best!!!!
And yes, I just grind the nuts first in a coffee grinder, to make "flour".
