Just curious if anyone has joined the PUSH site for personalized
training/excercise dvd's that are delivered to your home every month
as you progress? It looked interesting so I just joined and wondered
if anyone has tried it and is happy or not happy with it?!?!?

I don't know a thing about it, but think it's a great idea! Bought a 3 month membership to try at home.... ;)

Hey mrobinbird,I bought the 3 month membership too; Which trainer
did you pick? they all seem to have good credentials...I picked Bob Harper
to start with and cardio yoga for my 1st cardio.
I just got the dvd in the mail yesterday and am about to go watch it. I'll check back in a few weeks and let you know what I think of the program.
I used to use a personal
trainer for about 6 months, and what I really liked about that was the different routines
he always had me doing. He would rotate my weight trianing routine and
always changing it up. So I liked this concept with the PUSH DVD's
(btw, I can NOT afford a personal trainer anymore, so thought this
would be a nice alternative).
I found this website after watching part of "The Biggest Loser"
tv reality show. I was very impressed with the weight loss of all the contestants (and muscle definition!)
thru diet (although NOT all raw) and excercise alone, so was curious of there methods,
and stumbled across this site. I thought the show was great for the most
part...some things I didn't care for, but really love the idea
of promoting weight loss thru diet-lifestyle change and excercise rather than pills or surgary.
Anyways, I am rambling now. Will report back soon. You do the same
;)

Hi! I did order the service for 3 months - what a deal!! I let them pick my trainer and I am curious to find out what it's like. I've never had a personal trainer, but I have done weight training before. I am an avid hiker and hope this will help me focus on better health for a great backpacking trip! Please let me know what you think of your results after trying it.

Hi Punky - Just wanted to share that I got my Push DVD and it's great, but too much for me to do right now. The extra 40+ lbs that I'm carrying make it hard for me to do the strenght training part. I'm sticking to fast walking and rowing every other day for now. Hopefully I can start the Push training soon though... Wonderful concept. How are you doing? Keep in touch :)
