My sister found out about the last of Sept. that she has breast cancer she has chosen not to have it taken out or off, no cemo or radation. She has been on the 80% raw and juiceing and 15% cooked vegan diet since then. She want to go to a raw wellnes center to get grounded. As you must know what the doctors tell her is not good. But so far her cancer maker came back normal the first 6 weeks raw, anyway she lives in Seattle and wanted to go as soon a poss. She will go anywhere in the western states

You should also tell her to join Nora Lenz's yahoo group rawschool, Nora is near Seattle and maybe she'd like to do a consult. She can check out Nora's website on www.rawschool.com. I'm also in Seattle and in that yahoo group, it's a good supportive group, with a very Natural Hygiene focus.

She has a wonderful, holistic approach with her bodywork etc. So you will want to explore that option.

Beyond that, I would email Alissa for a recommendation if you are looking for a larger, more institutionalized center. Some offer a fabulous experience and some do not so you would want to weed through the options.

Thanks everyon for all your information I have passed it along to my sister. In January she will be taking more test so then we will find out how she is doing in her body. Her spirits are really high and we try to keep her positive.

I second RawYogini on the Optimum Health Institue for serious care. I wanted to send my father-in-law there (he has melanoma and lymphoma) and it looked well set up for such treatment.

I third the Optimum Health Institute. I went two years ago this January for an initial two week stay. During the second week, I added a week because I felt so much better. Into the third week, I decided to stay a fourth and final week to reinforce the program and the benefits. It truly was the best thing I ever did for myself. It also was amazing the miraculous healings I witnessed and heard about during my stay. Highly recommend.

I Fourth Optimim Health Institute in San Diego. www.optimumhealth.org -- it's how I got my start in raw -- 8 months ago. They have a 3- week program. I was only there a week and it CHANGED MY LIFE. And if you're sick you can stay for as long as you want/need to. The program works.

She wanted to go to the Optimim Health Institute in San Diego but they were filled up I was going to go with her there being close to where I live . We still might go On Jan 1st. She was going on the 19th but they filled up so she just paniced alittle I guess with her cancer and the doctors tell her she is going to die without there treatments.

My husband gets his blood work back today he has been about 50-50 he has high blood pressure and high cholestrol and is taking meds for them. He also had a heart attack amost 3 years agon and would only change his diet alittle but now is changing so I can hardly wait to find out the results.

She is looking into the one in Hawaii also she has talked to a doctor there so I don't know. She will have to decide soon that starts Dec 15. It has a good cancer treatment also.

Yeah, it looks like a wonderful place. I'm not sick, I'd just love to go there for some rejuvination! :-) I just happened to stumble across it one day online. You should also to tell her to join the Raw Seattle yahoo group for potlucks and events. :-)

Well my sister and I are off to the optimal heath instute in San Diego I am staying for the first week with her she is staying 3 weeks. So I guess I am going to start my 30 challange on the first. And when my sis get out she will have all the test again to find out how her cancer is doing.
