Just eat the whole thing while standing at the counter. It's what I always end up doing, even when they're huge. The "axils" or whatever you call them also make nice garnishes on anything from a salad or meal to a dessert.

I made an avocado/pom guacomole!! It was really good; I don't recall all the ingredients but it was the avo~ mached of course, the pom avrils, some chopped onions..it was really good.

Typically I eat them cut in half with a spoon - over the sink with a towel wrapped around my neck. . .because I've ruined a few tee-shirts eating them : )
But I just recently added the axils into my juicer - yummy. . .and also used some on a spinach salad.

I've put a link below to a search on "pomegranate" on this site. There've been lots of questions answered about it lately. If you go down to the one entitled "pomegranate (sp)" I believe that's where there are bunches of recipes and also how to open one easily and without the juices getting all over the place!

Okay. Just go to the Search icon (under the banana at the top of this page) and type in Pomegranate and you'll see the list of all the threads about that delicious red fruit!
