As a kid I hated lychees and did not understand how my dad could eat them but I saw them in the shop last week and thought ok let's try again..............they are great and even my 2 year thinks so too so one more to add to the list. Often of an afternoon I struggle anting sugar and I am finding that these are great instead. They are nothing like chocolate yest something about them just hits the spot.
When I was being really good about all raw my eyesight was great. Now that I slipped (again!) I am finding my eyesight really blurry and my heady foggy to the point wher reading on teh cumputer is difficult. Another good reason to get back on track.

I've never had a lychee I don't think. Maybe you should put them on your eyes at night, sort of like a cucumber slice? Oh, maybe I'm thinking about leeches.
Oh, I don't know.

lychee nuts are a wonderful fruit, not a nut at all.
they are kind of like a sweet white grape with little fibers in them. The fruit is white and a little larger than a big grape, before they are peeled they are a little smaller than a golf ball, and have a thick dark red knoblly skin, that peels off in one piece.
They are super delicious, and a tad bit expensive, I have never seen them for sale in the states even in Asian markets, but I'm sure they sell them somewhere.

I am from Australia and Lychees are pretty common here and not to expensive at all.The seed is about the size of a macadmia and then there is a beautiful almost transparent white fruit around it and then a bumpy red brown skin. They are very yummy. I have to sya we are very lucky down under as we get a real array of fruit and vegetables due to teh climate we experience

I first had lychees in a Chinese restaurant and I *very* occassionally see them in the supermarket. They are delicious. Squidly, I agree they 'hit the spot'-probably because they're sweet but not too sweet. Yum. Now I want some. :D

I just found lycees in Massachusetts and decided to try them. They are super delicious! Can you eat the "pit" in the middle?
