These were so good.

I soaked and sprouted about a cup and a half of buckwheat and the same of soft white wheat berries. Blend in food processor till fine and then it will turn itself into a big ball. Add the following ingredients all at once.

3 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp nutmeg
3 T agave nectar
2 heaping tsp raw honey
1/2 tsp real salt
1.5 cups soaked raisins

Blend till it makes a gooey dough. Stir in soaked walnut pieces. I used about a cup.

Place on wax paper pieces on the dehydrator trays and dehydrate for about 15 hours.

Thick, warm spicy, nutty, fruity. Yummy! AND BEST OF ALL....EASY!

Thanks Katrina, these sound great! I think I'll start soaking some buckwheat and wheatberries tommorrow. Do you think red wheatberries would do the same? That's all I have, and I'm sure the store I get them at doesn't have white.

The red wheat berries won't work if they're "hard". The hard ones are the kind you use to make wheat grass. I had to order what I got from Bob's Red Mill. But I don't know that all red wheat berries are hard. Someone else might be able to answer that question.

Good luck with your batch. Mine is almost gone! :p

Ok, I just went to bobsredmill.com. All the red wheat berries they sell are hard. They only soft one's they sell are white. So I'm thinking your wheat berries might not work for cookie dough. :(
