I am investigating this product to see how they obtain the lime flavor. I learned that Frontier obtained its liquid cinnamon flavor via steam distillation, therefore I have discontinued that product because it is definitely not raw or living. I now use real sun-dried cinnamon bark and if I want cinnamon powder, I grind it myself.

I will let you know what I find out about this Avocado Oil Infused with Zesty Lime. These so called "infused flavored oils" can be misleading to us as raw foodist. They may be in a raw cold pressed oil, but the flavoring itself may or may not be raw. I may be splitting hairs here, but I just like to be informed. I also like to share with everyone my findings.

Ok, I heard back from the company and they said...

"The lime oil extraction does not use a steam process. It is a cold pressing type of method but it may exceed 118 degrees F. I will check on the temperatures reached during the process and get back to you."

So this story is to be continued...

If you use a zester on the outer green lime skin you'll get the most intense flavor.

Where's the picture? LOL

I ordered one of the zesters.
