We live in Texas where pecans grow all over the place. After picking up several handfuls, my children requested a pecan pie. My husband suggested a raw one for all... I made Allisa's and am delighted with how closely the taste resembles cooked. My family decided that they were not going to give me anymore and save the rest for themselves!! Love it. Maybe they will be convinced yet. Don't you love that we can eat pecan pie for dinner?! :D
