I grow broccoli in my little garden and they are almost ready to eat. I was wondering if I can take the leaves and make green smoothies out of them. I'm also growing brussel sprouts and cauliflower, they have huge leaves, too.

yep, they are all greens, but get them small, so they aren't too fiberous, and they still taste young and sweet.

Thank you! Well, how about leaves of trees? I just re-planted my little fig tree into a more sunny location and hope this summer I will have plenty of figs. It would save me tons of money if I could harvest some leaves from that tree. It is the only fruit tree I have. I don't think I would try crape myrtle.
