Why is cold water bad?
When we put frozen fruit in smoothies ; is that bad also?

I don't remember exactly why except for that it's not good for your stomach to put really cold water in it...shock or something, I'm searching my memory hard here, I do remember that room temp. water (or body temp) is best for your system for digestion.

just what I remember...which isn't much sorry.

I thought it was only bad when fasting as it shocks the stomach.

I am assuming you mean bad somhow in that it isn't good for you physically.

We are frugavores, and our liquid that our body's need is best if it comes from the fruit we eat. However, many peopel do not eat enough fruit so we must drink water to satiate our thirst.

Water, isn't bad per se' except that it only has a few minerals in it, if at all, and it leaches carcinogens out of it's carrier, such as pvc pipe or lead pipe or plastic bottles.

Water, is okay to drink if it is rain catch and is taken in the body in it's natural form, but that is highly unlikely in this day and age of jet fuel in our air, and acid rain.

We can drink filtered water, or ozonated water, but I prefer to grab some organic water out of the lake, or out of our tap, which is from an artesian well.

Now, you are talking about drinking cold water, this isn't natural unless you are in a cold environment, so if you are in a cold area, drink cold water, just like you would find in nature, if you are in a warm environment, then drink warm water, just like you would find in nature.

If you drink cold water in a hot area, it will feel pretty good at first, but they you will get naseaus as it cramps the stomach and takes massive amounts of energy to warm up the contents of your stomach and actually makes your internal organs much warmer than they already were.

The same with the hot or warm water in cold temperature, it goes into the stomach and the stomach thinks, hey we are in a hot environment, and takes your energy to start cooling the internal temperature, and then your organs are way too cold.

it is best to always think, "Is this what I would find naturally?" cold water, hot water, organic fruits, smoothies? nut burgers etc.

Although I did make recipes for Thanksgiving, I havene't made anything since. If it doesn't come off the tree or the bush in it's form, I probably won't be eating it any time soon.

Don't get me wrong, I love gourmet foods, and all the great recipes, and nut burgers, and cakes and tortes etc, but I am mostly eating just fresh fruits and a few veggies for right now.

Pineapple, mmmmmm can't get enough of this and kiwis too. mmmmmmm

To quickly answer your question, it interrupts the digestive system. It's not "bad" per se, it's just not the best way to go.
