greetings,

I have a few questions as I'm quite new to this way of eating, raw. I'm not 100%, more like 60% and I try to feed my husband and kids what I'm eating.
The first few days, I have been in the kitchen all day long preparing food/thinking about food. I would like to know, what are the essential foods ?and I don't mean for recipes but the ones that are really needed as I like to consume them alone rather than mixed/juiced/blended up or just for the flavour types. And, what is the balance one should consume of these essential foods ? This would go for the whole family, and we want to keep it quite simple.

Before learning of this site, I have already stopped many things and started to eat/give to my kids raw fruits and vegetables as a side dish to every meal aswel as a snack. I also replaced all the juices/drinks for water (I'm nursing my 16 month old still).

thanx

Well, there is no essentials, just eat all the raw fruits, veggies, nuts and seeds you want, that's really it.

I know there are sites out there who say 10% this and 80% that, you need this much greens and this much fruits etc.

But I say eat raw, it's that easy, Alissa who owns this site is the one who taught me this.

It really is that easy.

your body will tell you what you need, once you are through detox, but as long as you are eating cooked, you won't completely detox.
