We made NadhirrahÂ’s Cranberry Sauce for Thanksgiving and had a bunch of it left over. It was good, but we just had too much food. So I put it in my Vita-mix with two more apples and some honey and made fruit leather. My husband said it's THE BEST EVER. Then he ate 3 pieces! Oh, and it's really pretty, too! :)

I might be getting the hang of this. :D

That's exactly what I did with my leftover cranberry sauce! :D And you're right...it IS very good...my kids made sure it didn't last long! I think I threw in an apple, a pear and some frozen strawberries as well.

I don't think ours will last very long, either. We each ate 3 pieces and it only made about 16. The strawberries sound good. :)

It sure is a great way to use up cranberry sauce. No one ever feels like eating it after Thanksgiving.

Well, I LOVE cranberry sauce, In my sad life, I would make cranberry sauce and dressing with gravy all the time, something about those spices the cranberry and the sage.

So, because I loved this so much I decided to make more than one kind of combination dinner.

What I mean by this is foods that grow in the same area at the same time of year.

Like sage and cranberries,

basil and tomatoe and garlic

nuts and apples

grapes and pumpkin

anyway, I try to eat the foods growing at the same time and growing in the same area, although I do love pineapple and bananas etc. I try to stick with what is growing locally to eat.

But, these flavors I can eat anytime of the year mmmmmmm
