Raw friendly restaurants in Kansas City?

Hi there, We're going to KC this weekend to celebrate a friend's birthday. Does anyone know of anyplace veg or raw friendly for me to go to before the party begins preferably near the Plaza or Westport?! :o Thanks for your help!

Check out www.happycow.net or www.vegdining.com. These sites should give you listings of vegetarian restaurants and health food stores in the area, and maybe you could call them up and see if they have decent salads?
