My husband thought we would all get a laugh out of this...

He's a truck driver and is out on the road right now. He stopped to get some dinner and ordered a vegi burger and some corn on the cob (he's a new vegetarian just this year...baby steps!) So he sees the woman carrying corn out and asks her if he can have some of it. (they had told them they were out) She says yes, but he'll have to wait for them to cook it b/c it's frozen. He says to her to just put it in some warm water to thaw it out, that he likes his corn crisp.

So, she puts it in a pot to cook and keeps checking it with a thermometer. He walks over and asks what she is doing and she says that it's only at 100 degrees and it's not ready. He says it's fine just like that, he doesn' want it over 105 anyway (I thought this was cute...he must really be listening to me lately) She tells him he can't have it until it's at 140 degrees b/c it's not SAFE! He started an (friendly) argument with her about how it was CORN, how could it not be safe unless cooked to 140 degrees?!?!?! He told her it was called RAW. LOL. Apparently she mumbled something about cooking out the starches or it wasn't safe and finally gave in and gave him is UNSAFE corn. :p

Some people just have no clue?? cooking out the starches?

:D Thanks for making me laugh!

I have to travel tomorrow and go to a funeral Friday (my Grandma died), so this was nice timing. :) The past couple of days have been rough!

Hi,
On my husband's job they know that he's vegan and they come at him quite often about his diet and when they do he tells them that he doesn't miss anything when he doesn't eat meat or animal products of any kind.
When they don't back off he will tell them that he has no problems in the bedroom no grease to stop or slow his progress, they try to tell him that they don't have any problems but when they are by themselves with him after the meal break they ask him what is his secret, they tell off on themselves.
It's funny how when you go to a vital area of the body you get to the root of every meat eaters problem. Ha,ha.
Keep eating raw it keeps the body going and going and going!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
