mmm... this was creamy and very decadent poured over arugula. :p
small handful of pine nuts
2 cloves of garlic
a shot or two of apple cider vinegar
some olive oil
dash of sea salt
pinch of cayenne
pinch of dried herb
vitamix all ingredients.
This dressing sounds delicious! I will try it soon.

I seem to be out of pine nuts tonight, do you think this would be alright with sesame tahini instead?

thank you so much for this recipe. it was meant to be, i have all of the ingredients in my kitchen right now! i will be making this tomorrow and devouring it on a bed of arugala.

This is just about the only dressing I use.....have modified it a bit.......add a whole, ripe tomato, herbs and less or no oil.......great.......almost like a french dressing....dee-licious!

when you modify it with the tomato, do you still include the pear? and do you peel your pear first?

Yes, I use the pear too and peel it first.

I love this dressing it is my favorite. It last for a couple of days also in the fridge which is great since I am the only raw in the house.

do you soak the pine nuts? how long?
