I have been speaking with a new online company (they are not new but their online store is) and I think I have found a wonderful new source for organic raw nuts and grains and other products. Here is a piece of an email from the company:
We operate 22 grocery stores, so our product is always coming in and out quickly. Occasionally an oddball herb may sit around for a few months on the store shelf, but every bag is calendar dated so we and our customers know when it was received. (The Colorado Dept of Agriculture even gave us an award for our system...) We also refrigerate all of our nuts and fruits at all times, even while in the stores, to keep them fresh.

On produce, for example we only bring in 100% organic and as local as possible. Sometimes this means we are out of things, but our customers don't mind. My favorite customer quote is "thanks for letting me not have to think when I shop. I know you only sell what is good for me!"
