New to Raw in South Dakota

:) Hello Everyone, My name is Andrea and my husband and I are sick and tired of being sick and tired, so we deceided to go raw. Both of us are excited to start this new journey. We currently live is South Dakota, but I am originally from California, and although we love the beautiful black hills, we find ourselves still missing the ocean! :( We have 2 beautiful children and our family life is wonderful, our problem is since our youngest was born we have gained so much weight. And with the weight has come more colds and flu then I can count. I am looking forward to hearing from anyone that can give me advice and support. Thanks for listening!!

Hi Andrea,

Welcome from someone from South Dakota although I don't live there now. You've come to the right place, and decided upon the healthiest way of living on the planet! This is far from the typical meat and potato diet in the midwest :).

Wether you suffer from being overweight to a lifethreatening disease, raw and living foods help your body heal itself! It's amazing.

The people here are friendly and knowledgeable as I'm sure you've found out about already.

Thank you all so much for making me feel welcome, which as some of you know can me hard to do when you are a raw foodist. Living in the midwest it is hard to "come out of the closest" when it comes to my and my family's eating habits, but knowing that there are other people who feel the same way I do is wonderful!!! :) Lately I have been thinking of ways to get my children into going raw, any suggestions? Again Thank You All!!! Oh and P.S. Today is my 2nd day of 100% raw!!!!
