My container of hemp seed/nuts (whatever you call them) are just sitting in the fridge doing nothing. Anyone got recipes, ideas, etc. I like them but I'm just not craving the taste of them, but I don't want them to get stale either. I thought if they could blend into a recipe I'd be more likely to eat them.

sprouting them and marinating them in a lemon and ginger sauce maybe. use it as your protein and omega 3 and 6 etc
My supplier says sprouting is totally unnecessary. I stick them in anything that calls for nuts... for instance in my "Gus's Pesto" I add maybe 1/2 cup and decrease the walnuts and pine nuts accordingly. I don't use alot since they're so pricey, but I try to work them in wherever I can. I also put them in my dehydrated flax crackers.
Oh, and here's some recipes... not all raw, not all hemp nut, but perhaps they can give you a few more ideas :)

Thanks everyone! Kmik, I'm going to try the cranberry coconut biscotti from that link for the holidays. beanie that's great to know that they can be subbed, because I have a recipe I want to try but no cashews, so now I can go ahead. dragonfist, lemon and ginger sounds good, maybe I will try to make some sort of salad like that with them.

They make the easiest milk in the world. Just put them in your blender by themselves and whir to a powder. Then, add water and you're good to go. You can then add the other ingredients for your green smoothie or use it as milk over raw granola or . . . ?
