I have only tried the Mock Turkey. It was awesome and seemed like a chicken salad to me. I'm soaking nuts for the Noasted Turkey right now. Will be making that tomorrow. It sounds delightful too.
I've also not tried the noasted turkey, but I'm planning on making both for Thanksgiving :)

Sharon, what does the noasted turkey actually taste like?

Has anyone made the Noasted turkey and not used a dehydrator??? And most importantly ~ did it taste as good??? I am also torn between which to make, I hear the Noasted turkey is similiar to a stuffing/dressing which I would die for!!! But would hate to make it and find that its only good dehydrated!!!

Katrina, it tasted on the heavy side to me because it was dehydrated.
Angelina, that might be a good idea - not to dehydrate it. But that is pretty much what is done with the mock turkey.
What I was thinking would taste REALLY good is to use already dehydrated onions & celery in some kind of undehydrated loaf. That way, you get the familiar flavor of the onions and celery but ithe whole thing is not dry.

Thanks Sharon, I think I may give that a try, not dehydrating but using dehydrated onions or celery. I'll let you all know.

I did not dehydrate the mock turkey loaf. It is very moist.
