Hi Everyone,
I am new to the living foods diet and have been 'lurking' on this board for a few days. You are all so well-informed! I will be starting a 30-day challenge next week, but wanted to share an awesome smoothie I made up yesterday. I have been the 'smoothie diva' in my house for several years now, and this one got rave reviews from my family. I hope you like it! Oh, and I have a question----- is hemp powder raw? Thanks! ( I am thinking in terms of adding to my smoothie recipes).
MANGO-BERRY FROST
*8 oz. fresh-squeezed orange juice
*1 apple, cut up (not frozen)
* 1 cup peeled, frozen mango
*1 cup frozen berries (I use a mixture of blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, and raspberries that come bagged from my grocery store)
*1 frozen banana
Place all ingredients in high-speed blender and whizz until thick and frosty. You may add a bit more water if it's too thick to drink. Enjoy!
