... and a dehydrator? Make cranberry fruit leather!
I made MUCH more cranberry sauce than we'd ever eat, so instead of wasting it, the idea came to me to spread it on the dehydrator sheets and make fruit leather for the kids (and me! :D )
It turned out good! I didn't make chunky cranberry sauce as I know some of you did, but I figure you can either leave it chunky and dehydrate it or you can puree it in the blender and then dehydrate!
Or...perhaps it can be added to smoothies. This is all in addition to simply just eating the sauce...but me, after the festivities, I kinda lose my taste for just cranberry sauce without all the other "trimmings". So, just a couple of ideas on what to do with it if you're like me and happened to have had some left over!
