Hello everyone! I am new to raw, one week newbie, or would that be one week rawbie! Anyway, just received my dehydrator and would love to try it out and thought I would ask which recipes do you like that are easy!! Also, unfortunately I forgot to order teflex sheets. Can I use parchment paper in place? Can I buy them in a retail strore? The only things I have soaking right now are oat groats and almonds.
Looking forward in hearing from you!
Thanks,

Hi and I hope you enjoy your dehydrator!!
If you bought an Excalibur, you can order teflex sheets separately. I would encourage you to get some teflex sheets if you can afford them. They're well worth the money.
I've suggested this many times but it is my favorite thing to dehydrate so here goes again:
Take some ripe organic bananas. Peel them. Push them lengthwise through an egg slicer and spread out on your mesh trays. Dehydrate overnight (and then maybe through lunch or mid morning) and then store in a baggie.
These are delicious and make a great travel food item.
You can also click the Search (banana) button and search for "dehydrate" and probably get an overwhelming list of others recipes.
Cheers, fiddler

Yes, you can use parchment until you receive the teflex.
One of my easy fave recipes is for the caramel coconut or coconut caramel cookies. If you type that in up at the 'nana, it "should" come up for you. W/in the thread, there's also an easy fudge recipe.
Enjoy your new dehydrator!!!
