i just bought some "soy and flaxseed tortilla chips" from trader joes and i was wondering if they were raw or not. the ingredients are:
- stone ground yellow corn
- soy grits
- brown flaxseed
- corn oil or sunflower oil
- sea salt
- water
- trace of lime

i'd appreciate the feedback. thanks.

doubt it. The soy grits are kind of a dead giveaway. Also, does the bag say they are dehydrated? More than likely they're probably baked or fried like most chips

Hi,

The only truly Raw crackers & chips I have seen are at whole foods and they are made by a company called Eat Raw from Brooklyn. I have been trying to duplicate there crackers in my dehydrator but have not had any luck :( If you are not 100% raw the closest you will find are Guiltless gourmet or Garden of eatin, I buy those for my kids and they love them.
