Is your tummy bloating to a huge size a normal detox process? My belly which is usually flat, is really bloated! I want to know if it's normal.

Sorry to hear about your tummy trouble. I just started detoxing. This is my 3rd day and the only thing I have noticed is my vision seems to be clearing because when I wear my glasses they seem to be a little to strong. When I was driving I found myself having to refocus several times. When I got out of the car and went into the store I actually had to take them off a couple of times because everything looked weird with them on and better with them off. I guess just like your tummy, my eyes are going through a result of detoxing. I am expecting many more things before it is over.

Whatever you do don't give up. It's just the body trying to repair itself. Hang in there!

My assumption is that your intestines might not be used to so much bulk and fiber. If that is the case, you might want to try juicing for a bit in the beginning and see if that helps. Or just be patient until your body adjusts. If you post what you eat, maybe some people could give you hints also on food combining and gaseous foods. I'm not good with food combinning though, but some people find mono meals and fruit alone type things help them.

But after I went raw, about 4 months later, I no longer needed glasses! Yep, for the last 3 months, I can see fine now. But for a couple weeks there, I couldn't see with them well anymore nor without them, lol!

Hi,
This is my 31st day all raw, it wasn't as difficult as it was the last time I tried.
This is my 2nd attempt and this time I'm hanging on.
Last week I ate some some celery root and did not chew it well enough and my stomach bloated and I stopped having my morning and evening bm's, I felt tired and dizzy.
After some wonderful advice about drinking celery juice and drinking smooth move tea I feel better now.
Now when I eat I chew, chew, chew my food and I stopped being in a hurry when I eatl
Hope you feel better and keep up the good work, I'm learning to listen to my body and now that I am eating raw it is speaking loud and clear and I like what I'm hearing.

Ann ;)
