Finding Me

I ordered Alissa's Book and DVD yesterday. I can't wait for it to come! I was wondering if there were any other books that I should purchase to supplement her books. I want to know everything there is about raw! I also want to know it all, so when I have "bad cooked" cravings and thoughts, I can talk myself out of it from all of the raw facts.

Thanks in advance!

This thread discussed a bunch of books recently on this forum:

My favorite recipe book is Alissa's!
Others include:
12 Steps to Raw -- good motivation for sticking to the RAW program
Living in the Raw -- many good transitional recipes
Complete Book of Raw -- a collection of recipes from the top chefs

Anything by Paul Nison is good too.
I'm sure there are others and you can browse this forum to get folks' recent suggestions.

Good luck to you.

I just got 12 Steps to Raw Food by Victoria Boutenko and Raw Food Made Easy for 1 or 2 People by Jennifer Cornbleet.

I really love them both. Victoria's is such a motivational, easy to follow book. I am only a few chapters into it so far but I'm hooked.

I've also heard great things about her newest book Green For Life.
