I run 4 to 6 miles three times a week. For years I have been using an "energy replacement" drink (Cytomax) and it seems to make for quicker recoveries and no muscle soreness. With the exception of this beverage, I am essentially 100% raw. Any suggestions on what I could use instead of the Cytomax?
Thanks.

I run on a very similar schedule and mileage as you do. As far as energy, I use either smoothies or fruit juice drinks. For example, I may have a banana-date-apple shake or a banana-date-nut shake or 32oz of fresh squeezed OJ. This always gives me all the energy I need. I usually do 8 mile runs but sometimes as little as 4. As far as quicker recovery and soreness, I have not had a problem in either of these areas (which I attribute to being 18 months raw). Well, thats my suggestion:)
