I am definately going to join you Edie. the whole rush of people eating and getting all excite about a table full of fattening food makes me paranoid! I get nervous and anxiety seeing all the grocery stores mobbed.............this wil be a nice way to stay clam and raw. :)

Ya know...I'm going to give this some serious thought and prayer because I can definitely see the benefit in doing this. Perhaps I'll whip up some raw goodies and have them a day or two before (maybe even THIS weekend instead of next) and then fast on T-Day.
I'll let ya know how it went if I decide to do it!

I'm planning on starting another fast this Sunday (20th) through the end of the month so I'll be with you also on the days you stated.
I am so excited that you guys are going to be juicing! I believe that Thanksgiving is for being greatful and thankful not all the craziness that goes with the holiday stuff anyway I can spend some time reflecting, taking my dog for a hike and then stop by at some friends of course the ones that accept my raw way of life. I am going to start Thanksgivings and do 3 or 4 days. I will write more later about what I will juice and why. Last month I went to Dr. Cousins place, (The Tree of Life) and did a whole person healing with him. It was great I learned so much and I am really looking forward to doing more healing... :)

Edie: BAC, have you decided what kind of juices? I was curious as you said you would explain why you would choose specific kinds........ :)
I'm so disgusted with me today............I'm going to start fasting tomorrow until the end of the month...............I feel highly emotionally charged and depressed.
Misslinda, I have to go to an apt. now but I will get back to you later. :) EDIE

I'm starting my fast today until the end of the month. for those of you that are fasting, are you going to use the salt water flush to remove toxins? this is what I will be using.

I hadn't thought about it. Are you going to do it each day or just for a few days?

Awesome Brenda...I will jsut be a few days earlier................Lisa, I will be doing the flush every morning--but if it feels to stringent, I will do it every couple days. :)
So my plan is to drink cucumber, celery and cilantro. ( cilantro is great! ) I found this out because Dr. Cousens said it is the most specific thing for heavy metal detox, one of my challenges. I am right in the middle of his 6 week liver detox so I am going to rest my digestive track for a few days. I do the liver flush on Dec. 9 th. Ive always wanted to do one but didn't have the courage on my own. Anyway I am also doing the juicing for spiritual reasons, which is what I think the hoildays are all about... :) I am going to try and start a journal on thurs also (Long as I can figure out how to do it! EDIE
Anyone out there jucing today? :D I fixed my celery, cucumber and cilantro juice also doing some liver herbs that Dr. Cousens gave me. Anyway the juice keeps tasting better and better, sweeter and sweeter... Rawsome I am going to have the best day ever nurturing myself. HAPPY THANKSGIVING! EDIE
