I found this at my health food store and tried it, and it was pretty good. It's not all dried fruits and nuts, which give me candida symptoms. It's algae, sprouted seeds and nuts, and coconut. It's not overly sweet like a candy bar, but lightly sweet and pleasant-tasting. It's tasty enough to be good, but not so wonderful that they're addicting so you want to eat six. ;) The only drawback is that they're really hard to bite into (they can be rehydrated, but I'm not sure I'd do that if I was out).

Has anyone else seen these? I'm thinking of asking dh to stuff my Christmas stocking with some of these as emergency take-out food. They have an expiration date of over a year, so I think I could stock up on a half dozen and be good for quite a while. I might try cutting one into bite-sized pieces and put them in a container if I was taking them out as travel food. I wouldn't want to chip a tooth or anything!

My health food store carries those Pailani and I was just looking at them today. A friend was with me and said she just loves them. I put it back though. That is 2 good opinions in one day so perhaps next time I will give one a go :)

I LOVE these!!! I can't finish one unless I've missed a meal and REALLY hungry. They're compact, super nutrition! Warning: since they're dehydrated, you'll definitely want to drink water afterward or with it as needed. I carry one in my purse just for those unexpected delays so I have something to eat and don't get tempted to stray....

Also, I take crystal manna capsules. It's an excellent source of brain food.

Great to know! I'll check out Lydia's table at the Farmer's Market tomorrow and pick one up so I can try it.

I'm going to try some. They sound like could help me. I worked today, I am a nurse and we always have family bring us in donuts and to day was no exception. I had absolutly no desire to eat those which is really strange but I was craving something. I have been completly raw only 3 days and about 50% raw before that,

Get the Carob Hazelnut bars!!!!!!

I wondered what you were talking about -- and then I checked back at the Lydia's site, and found that they sell the Carob Hazelnut bars, and they're also raw! In fact, Lydia's specilizes in raw food! I thought the Crystal Manna bar was the only raw thing they had.
