Hi all!

I hope I put this is the right area. I am not looking for recipes here. I know that there is a Thanksgiving recipe thread out there somewhere. What I am wondering is what you all eat for Thanksgiving. This is going to be my first raw Thanksgiving. Every year I make out a menu of what I am going to prepare. I still need to make the traditional meal for my family. I am not sure what to make for me. So what do you guys eat? This holiday is all about food and I don't have any traditions to fall back on. (Well no healthy ones at least.) I do have Alissa book, which I am enjoying a lot. Thanks so much for your help and input. :)

I usually have the Mock Turkey Loaf w/walnut gravy (don't like mushrooms) although this year I want to try the Noasted Turkey (both found in Alissa's book), Marinated Greens, Creamy Sweet Potatoes, and some kind of dessert(s). This year I may do some mashed "potatoes" w/gravy as well and maybe some marinated corn mixed with red bell peppers warmed in the dehydrator.

Thanks for responding Rawkinlocks! Your menu sounds yummy. I think I am going to do the mock turkey loaf with cranberry sauce as a main dish.
Thanks again for your input.

Peace,

Question. Does the mock turkey loaf include the use of a dehydrator????

No it doesn't, but for some reason, it can sometimes come out less-than-slicable...so watch your processing as in, don't OVER process this or it'll be kinda soupy-ish (see: http://hishealingways.com/mockturkey/mockturkey11.html) it should not be this well-blended and creamy unless one was planning to dehydrate it (which isn't what the original recipe calls for doing).

Here's the actual recipe:

Awsome! I was just looking for a nondehydrated nonturkey recipe since I won't be getting one until I move at the end of the month. Thanks Rawkinlocs!
