I feel a little silly asking this, but thought I'd best make sure: When Alissa calls for the use of a "whole orange", I assume that does not include the skin. Am I right?
I don't think so, but not sure either. Maybe she just means that you need the whole orange, not just the juice... again, not completely sure about that!

One recipe is for American Cheese on Page 320. Also, on pg. 522, the Key Lime Pie filling recipe, calls for 3 whole large limes. I wonder, there too, about the peel.

yes its the whole orange. just peal it and use the whole thing dont juice it.
