Can anyone recommend any good juicing and/or smoothie books?

I would like the books written by a raw foodist or a vegan at least. I dont want to add stuff to a smoothie that may not be acceptable to a raw foodist.

Thank you,
Teresa and Mae

I've thought about getting this book from Frederic Patenaude's website, looks very handy!

oh oh oh!!!! THE perfect smoothie book is Victoria Boutenko's "Green for Life" available at their www.rawfamily.com site. It's about green smoothies, and why they're so good for us... and I'm sure you know, green smoothies have fruit in them too, and she's got lots of great recipes in the back of the book.

To get a "flavor" for the book (pun intended ;) ) you can read "Ode to Green Smoothies" at http://www.rawfamily.com/articles.html. In the book she goes in to a lot more detail about the reasons why these are the perfect food for humans :D

I am currently borrowing a book from the Public Library called "The Smoothies Bible" by Pat Crocker. (ISBN 0-7788-0063-6) It's not 100% vegan and not 100% raw (although many of the recipes are raw/vegan) but has a LOT of good information about the benefits of the fruits and the herbs used in the recipes. I plan on someday purchasing it.

I also am dying to get my hands on "Green for Life" by Victoria Boutenko, as the excerpts I've read on line have been so wonderful.
