I have become a raw food eater for the last 6 days, and have to say I feel brilliant. I have lost weight without stress or hunger and I feel so energetic. I had a bit of a crisis monday night and phoned my sister she suggested raw eating and nourishing my body instead of starving it.
I am currently receiving treatment for a leg ulcer on an old scar on my leg. I injured my scar climbing down a volcano in greece and it is taking a while to heal. In four weeks of going to the doctor and getting their "advice" it got worse. I have realised that doctors cant cure everything. since being on the raw food i have not only lost weight but the leg ulcer is improving.
I told the nurse last monday that it was getting worse and not improving despite their treatment. Her reply was that i should lose weight. I am very overweight I need to lose about 9 stone. I am going back this monday to show her that my leg has improved by me treating it with raw food, rather than following her advice on restricting food and becoming miserable and hungry. As everyone should know dieting and restricting only leads to more weight gain. I was 11 stone when i started dieting i am now a lot more than that.
I have lost 8lbs and I know I have found the way forward.
gosh i have written a book here.
i look forward to ideas and i will keep you posted on my leg if you are interested. I am so glad i found this place. all my love Pink xx

Thankyou so much for the warm welcome.
I will be going today to see the nurse i will let you know what she says. Heehee the volcano was excellent it was a dormant one so safe ish, but health and safety wouldnt have let me go down it if it was in the UK lol.
There wasnt a path you had to have the balance of a mountain goat to get down but it was worth it.
A woman in front of me broke her ankle it was so tough going but I have pics. I will put them on. I have lost another lb since yesterday.

As soon as I read this post I thought you might want to take a look at this one. Although probably not as dramatic, I had a wound that wasn't healing, and as soon as I went raw it started to do so.

I wish you well in your raw journey.

Tim
