Sometimes my healthfood store has these & I absolutely love them! The ingredients seem simple;the meatballs are made from walnuts, sundried tomatoes, celery, garlic, onion,Italian spices. The gravy is made from fresh tomatoes, sundried tomatoes, basil, parsley, sea salt, garlic,& spices.I have all this stuff I just can't figure out what proportions to use.

Well, since I have never eaten these little guys, I have no idea, but I can tell you that the order of ingredients, must be equal to the amount in the recipe.

so, if it says walnuts, sundried tomatoes, there are more walnuts than sun dried tomatoes.

So, that is at least a start.

so I would try:
1 cup walnuts,
1/2 cup sundried tomatoes,
1/4 cup celery,
2 clove garlic,
1 T onion,
1 tsp Italian spices.

1 fresh tomatoes,
1/2 cup sundried tomatoes,
1 T basil,
1 T parsley,
1 tsp sea salt,
1 clove garlic,
spices (this is tricky, as it could be anything. I would try chili powder 1 tsp.)

If nothing else, it will be good, and after you've made it, you could start tweeking it, but these measurements, should taste pretty good.

All the recipes for Rawlifeline products are freely available from their website.
All you need to do is enter your e-mail address on the product page (Internet Explorer only -Firefox doesn't work :( )and the recipe will be sent to you.
Below is the full text of the e-mail for the Unmeatloaf which seems to be the same as the unmeatballs.

Hope this helps,

Rob.

Making the foods is great and is a part of the beautiful experience of living the raw lifestyle. However there are weeks when making the food can be a challenge. That’s why we are here, to make things easier! So I highly recommend you making the food above on your own, and when you need some suppport from us, come visit us online at Rawlifeline.com and place an order for the weekly menu. And hey, if you haven’t placed an order with us before, I’ll make sure to throw in a free bag of Granola as a way of simply saying thank you. "

Thanks for posting that un-meatloaf recipe Rob! Since nothing turkeyesque is turning out good enough to serve for Thanksgiving, I was looking for a "meat-loaf" recipe! I'm going to try this soon!

Does anyone know how to make a loaf-type dish that doesn't require the use of so many nuts and seeds? I have been looking for such a recipe for quite some time, but no luck yet. I like nuts and seeds, but not in such large quantities.

Thanks,

Christine
