I hope I'm posting this in the right place.
Over the last week, my adorable DH has been transitioning from SAD to vegetarian then to raw. Being a quiet kind of guy, he didn't announce that he was doing this but chose to make it clear by telling me that his Rawvioli were still raw because they were only lightly warmed, not cooked. :D I did make clear to him that he didn't have to do this just because I'm back to being raw, and that I would never ask that of him but I really appreciated his complete support.
So anyway, last night he asked me how long detox takes and what the symptoms would be. I told him flu-like, maybe a headache for a day or two, that its different for everyone depending on their level of toxicity (I've been reading a lot of archived posts on this site!). He asked me if during my recent detox did I notice some things smell differently, and I told him yes, that certainly could happen as the mucous is cleared out. That's when he told me that his office smells like garlic and his (new) car smells like burning oil.
Have any of you noticed that smells are different? Has anyone else noticed a garlic smell? Its never happened to me so I told him I would ask you all if anyone has ever had this happen. The smell is not from his lunch, because I fix his lunch everyday and there's no garlic in it.
