Woodstock Orchards 100% natural - unsweetened Apple Spread....Made with fresh apples and apple cider....is this raw? :confused:

If it's in a bottle or can, no, probably not. Does it say 100% raw? If you read enough lables, you'll find that manufacturers consider sugar 100% natural also ~ and it's highly processed.

Option ~ email the manufacturer.

nuttie, my advice to you is to just make your own apple spread, this way you know for sure. I mean when it comes to things like raw vinegar or raw soy sauce (nama shoyu), then those things I will buy in a jar from the store. But apple spread is so easy to make. I would make that. Just my advice, you have to do what you have to do.

Sorry nuttie, this isn't exactly what you asked but I thought I'd let you know that I just made some raw apple sauce out of Alissa's book. I know it may not be the same as spread but it was so easy to make and it really satisfies the sweet tooth! I had found some organic Braeburn apples on sale. They were kind of tart, but with the raw honey and cinnamon in this recipe, they are very good! :)
