My resolution this year is to start eating fermented foods. Back in December I started reading about fermentation and got a few books from the library, and I've just ordered the following - Perfect Pickle from amazon, mason jars from local store. My goal is to make a bunch of pickles, all natural, no whey starter or anything.
I really like Korean food but I was never able to find any Kimchi which was fully vegetarian (as you know most of it contains some fish paste etc). I never knew it could be made easily at home! The health benefits of fermented foods really seem awesome.
