As many of you may or may not know... using Himilayan Salt in a bath is very healthy. I drink Sole' daily as well. (link to Sole' info: http://www.himalayancrystalsalt.com/sole-recipe.html )

Here's some info for you:

The detoxifying effect of a brine bath can be compared to a 3-day fast. Since salt is also a disinfectant, several people can safely use the same water. To get the full benefits of a therapeutic natural crystal salt bath, the right salt concentration is critical. The salt concentration has to be at least the same as the one of your body fluids (approximately 1%) to activate the osmotic exchange ratio. The formula for a 1% solution is 1.28 ounces of salt per gallon of water. Since a full tub normally takes from 100 to 120 liters (27 - 32 gallons) of water, at least 1.2 kg. (2.6 pounds) of natural salt is required. To avoid using body energy to balance the temperature, the water should be approximately 37° Celsius (97° Fahrenheit). Your bath will remain at a constant temperature because the biophysical composition of the salt is so strong - it causes the molecules to move in a constant rhythm.

Do not use any bath additives, soaps, or oils. Your bath should last 20 to 30 minutes. During this time, the temperature and the makeup of the brine bath is comparable to the amniotic fluid in which the embryo floats in the prenatal state. Do not shower off, simply dry off with a towel. After your brine bath, you should rest for at least 30 minutes.

WARNING: While brine baths have a positive effect on many ailments, they are also demanding on your circulatory system. If you suffer from weak or poor heart circulation, always consult your doctor first.

I have another bath I do that is probably equal to a 3-day fast. I know it's really detoxing.

Fill bath with very warm water. (If you are fasting your bath should not be too warm as it's very hard on your heart.)
Add in 1/4 - 1/2 a cup of green clay, a handful of himilayan salt, two handfuls of epson salt and any aromatherapy you desire.
Relax in the tub for a MAXIMUM of 30 minutes.

Be prepared to go relax after this bath especially if you are fasting. I only do this when I'm fasting and I love to do it when I water fast. It really kicks up the detox in a big way and gets things moving.

So if you are fasting and not feeling like you are detoxing much... this is a sure fire way to get things moving OUT.

Both very detoxifying. Also good is to take 1/2 to 1 gallon of diluted (3%) hydrogen peroxide and add to a bathtub of warm water. Some people even add an entire pint of 35% hydrogen peroxide into the tub. But instead of tiring you out, these baths are very energizing because they flood your body with oxygen.

Even better would be chlorophyll baths. Dr. Bernard Jensen got amazing results by having his patients soak for 30 minutes daily in warm chlorophyll baths. I'm not sure what the ratio of chlorophyll-rich juices to water would be, though. But if you live in a relatively unpolluted area, this is a great thing to do with your lawn grass if you don't want to drink it.

A someone who stocks gallon jugs of 30% hydrogen peroxide and uses it for cleaning everything from the toilet to the kitchen sink, there is no way I would ever get in a tub of the stuff on purpose, even very diluted. Hydrogen peroxide is a bleach and damages tissue. It is really not helpful even used on a wound as it just delays healing. The reason anti-oxidants are sought after for health is because the do the exact opposite of hydrogen peroxide, they reduce the oxidative stress on your body where as hydrogen peroxide drastically increases it. Be careful!
