View Full Version : Is pulsing better than blending?

I heard that it is better to pulse your food in a blender than to just blend it all at once to get more nutrients out of it or something. Is this true?
I'm not sure about that, but I just wanted to say that - for example, when I make a smoothie - pulsing doesn't get the smooth texture that I'm going for. I want to blend many things until they're smooth and creamy...

Thank you! I agree, but if you pulse it will also work it will just take a lot longer.
I see what you mean. Yes, it would take longer. The way I feel about this; things like do you lose nutrients when juicing, etc. - I'm eating a *whole* lot better than I used to. I do what's easiest and call it good.
