Hi,
I just purchased a jar of raw honey and wanted to know if any of you have used it in your recipes and what do you think about eating it.

I love raw honey. A little goes a long way. I made a raw snack with it using a teaspoon of honey, coconut oil, raw oats and a ripe banana.

I love raw honey. I use it in smoothies, pie crusts, ice cream, chocolate sauce, and probably in a few more things that I can't think of right now.

Thank you for your responses, we use to use honey before going raw but it wasn't raw honey.
Someone told us it was not vegan so we stopped using it. I really like to use it just off of the spoon with my lemon juice in the morning (someone posted this) and I love it.

A Vegan's (not a lacto ovo ) view honey as an animal product, not a plant...though you could say Honey comes from bees gathering pollen from plants to make the honey.

Raw honey is not even comparable to regular. Puts me into a sugar high so I do not use..bummer.

I love raw honey! I use it as a sweetner in almost all of my recipes. I have also found for the vegans that the raw agave works in the place of raw honey.
