Juicing tips (and my new sink!)

I wanted to share my new sink with you all. Now when we make juice - whether we use the Champion (as in the pic below) or our Greenstar, we let the pulp go right into the sink. We have a garburator and no where to compost (we live in a condo) so this is our version of finding a healthier place for our pulp.

So here's the sink set up and also a pic of last bit of "soup" for supper. Yup... that's my tom juice with heavy greens!

Do you have any little tricks you use to assist with your clean up?

I've started taking my Greenstar and placing the body near the sink and using the spray from the faucet and cleaning it that way. It's always been a challenge to get that part really clean (the part that attaches to the attachments to juice not the entire base). The Champion ends up just splashing all over the kitchen so I use a cloth for it. LOL

I place my jars or in the case of the pics... a bowl in the sink and pour into that. No more spills on the counter! I love that all the mess from juicing is kept in one space that is very easy to clean.

I sure do love this new huge sink... I'd never go back to a small one now.

Love the new sink....I hope you are enjoying it. I am going to just juice today and maybe have a smoothie for b'fast.
