Since soy can affect your hormones and menstrual cycle, I took the advice given on here and have been trying to avoid as much soy as I can (which is completely, except for maybe when we eat out occasionally, as I don't know what's in that food. If there's soy, though, it is organic, at least.) I've been doing that for probably a month. I've been raw for 9 months (usually high raw). This month, though, I haven't noticed any changes in my cycle except that the back pain is finally gone. I'm not sure if that's related to the raw diet or the lack of soy. How long do you need to be off of soy before you notice any improvements? I'd like it to be much lighter and shorter.

One more thing: My mom and I have just started taking Vitamineral greens daily. Do you guys think that will have any effect on it?

It took a couple of cycles for me the last time I was raw and this time it took just one. I think it's raw and soy for me that make a difference. After 4 cycles previously, I had very light flow and no pain. When I reintroduce soy they got heavier and more painful.
