In addition to my three acres of guava, and my large gardens, I planted 8 banana plants today!

Maia Ha'a Ha'a (a hawaiian banana)
Ice Cream Banana
We also have some banana plants towards the back of our property and I'm not really sure what type they are. The bananas are HUGE (like 10 inches long and 3 inches in diameter) and have to be very very ripe to eat but are very sweet and yummy.
So many many bananas will be in our future! I'm going to purchase more and plant more later but just this week I've put in an orange tree, a tangelo tree, some citrus tree that I found on another one of my properties that I'm not sure what it is, and a mullberry tree.
I can't wait to eat all the yummy fruits! I did find today on the back of our property a couple callamondin trees and a tangerine tree and a jackfruit/breadfruit type tree that I'm not sure what it is so I'm going to ask a local nursery.
Along with about 20 coconut trees we are well on our way to raw food self sufficiency.
