I would like a suggestion for a juicer that will benefit my health. I have fibromyalgia and have read that juicing can benefit me. I would like to spend around $200 or less.

I started juicing with a Jack Lalanne Power Juicer Pro which costs around $150. I've seen them on sale for around $120-$130 so you may be able to get a deal if you shop around. It's a centrifugal juicer and mine is still working after several years of frequent use.

If you want to spend more than $200 you may want to try a good masticating juicer which improves the juice quality by generating less heat during juicing. My favorite masticating juicer at the moment is a bit pricey at around $400. That's the Omega VRT-300 which is a vertical single auger juicer. I recently bought one as i'm juicing virtually every day now and more serious about juicing generally than when I started.

You can get cheaper masticating juicers but they all tend to be above $200. Omega is a brand I have had good experiences with and they make a lot of different masticating (and centrifugal) juicers.

Hope this helps!

Here's a Hamilton Beach centrifugal juicer for $45 at amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Hamilton-Beach-Mouth-Juice-Extractor/dp/B002OF3FBK/). Looks like a decent juicer for someone starting out who doesn't want to spend a lot of money.
