Is that a good or bad combination?
Usually I have 28 hours long water fast every week and I would go jogging in the afternoon for one hour. Usually I am afraid I would be very hungry when I come back and I would have to break my fast. I guess my blood sugar levels are very low after running especially if I am fasting.
Is it better to rest when or water fast, to have light exercise like walking or is running OK? What are your experiences?

I know I couldn't run when I am water fasting but then I'm not noted for my running when I am not fasting.

I had been able to run and run/walk during multi-day water fasts in the past. I'd eaten honey before and cloves of garlic on the run for energy. My wife did not like running along side me with my garlic breath, lol. Other water fasts I had been able to either do fairly exertive lawn work, or shovel substantial amounts of snow during storms. Those were during the times that my diet was the cleanest though, and I was likely experiencing the least amount of detox.
There have been other times where I could not accomplish any of that while fasting. I just let my energy level and feeling of wellness dictate what I could do or not. I don't recall ever exerting myself and then having to stop due to exhaustion. Instead, I guess I was aware if I would not be able, and kept low with the exertion levels. If I felt weak from exertion a glass or two of water usually picked me back up. What would sometimes set in during exertion was a little nausea, which a glass of water helped as well.

Interesting what you say about garlic. I was feeling sluggish today and then had a garlic heavy lunch - after that I felt full of beans so to speak.
