I want to make my own. I have found lots of different raw recipes on-line, but I was hoping someone here has done it and likes the way they do it and will share!
Needed: Raw Vanilla Powder Recipe
Please?

First of all I haven't made vanilla powder but this is how I would make it if I did. Dehydrate vanilla pods until very dry. Blitz in a coffee bean grinder or food mill with that sort of attachment.
Like MysticTree, I also have not made vanilla powder. But if/when I do, I will try Rene Oswald's method found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BmvON_NGpWE
She blends it with buckwheat groats and the reason why is explained in the comments below the video.
If you make it (regardless of which 'recipe') - post back okay? I'm curious about it. I've never used it..

I think D.E. (diatomaceous earth-food grade) would also work as a drying carrier for this. No fat, no flavor-a dry non clumping anti caking medium to do what the groats do. I use it when grinding beet powder to keep it from caking and it works well in that application.

I just got my raw, organic vanilla beans so I will be drying them in the EX and then grinding them up in the herb grinder as this makes the most sense to me! I will report back about the taste!
Sounds good! I'm glad you'll post back to let us know. I'd like to make some as well ~

It worked! I dehydrated the beans for a couple of hours at 95 degrees in the EX. Then I ground the beans in an herb grinder. It made a fine powder and tastes delicious! I just added some to a chocolate chia pudding and it tastes amazing!

I make vanilla powder a lot and add it to frozen banana ice cream. If you have never tried this flavour then you must as it is fantastic. I just use the coffee grinder and use one third of a pod to 5 or 6 bananas and make it as I need it. I am always on the look out for discounted pods as they are expensive. If anyone has a cheap online source it would be great.

It does not dissolve...lol... So, if you are making something thin or smooth (my raw chocolate milk recipe) it won't work because you will get the grainy texture!

I find that older ones dissolve better and become a finer powder but I can never keep any long enough since I discovered how nice it is but even not fully powdered it imparts that great taste. I have never dehydrated it to get the same effect but I will try that.

I wouldn't have thought it was soluble. I would have thought it would form a fine sediment.

That is does! So no thin/watery drinks or you will notice!
