raw & BEHCETS- anyone?

I am wondering if anyone out there has BEHCETS and saw any improvement after going 100%? My friend's husband almost died recently from behcets, and he is officially the worst case that the specialist has ever seen. He is suffering on a daily basis, and so are his children and his wife too- watching him deteriorate. I've been talking to her about starting raw foods for him, and she loves the idea. Now its just convincing HIM.
