I've posted before that I know someone that has a friend that's a doctor who prescribed him cholesterol lowering medications.
Since the end of 2011 there have been more than 900 studies proving it's more dangerous than no treatment at all and that people taking it die younger than those with the same health condition but taking a placebo.
Of course he think's I'm a complete idiot for believing 900 independent studies while he thinks it's brilliant blindly trusting the marketing of a company trying to sell you something, especially when they've been caught in frauds over and over, and over 900 studies prove it's exactly what they're doing again.
I am writing him a letter with references to some of the 900 studies as well as a study of the 900 studies.
However, if he keeps his head in the sand I would like to know if I can take legal action against his friend doctor since there are over 900 scientific studies proving he is guilty of medical quackery and likely more since we know the drug will likely kill him if he continues.
However I know that doctors, like the police, are protected against the most atrocious crimes, they can literally get away with murder over and over. So would I have any hope in taking legal action against his doctor friend and what sort of charges would this qualify for?
I realize it's sad because his doctor is as much a victim as he is and it's not his doctor's intention to destroy his health, but if his doctor is really gullible enough to blindly trust the marketing of a company and not even be bothered to look if it's proven he has no business being a doctor.
If anyone know what if any legal action I can take in this situation I would like to know, of course I hope it won't come to this and that he'll wake up without this being necessary, but I would be willing to go this far to save his health and life.
By the way, can I sue his doctor even though I'm not the victim (the victim is too gullible to realize they are a victim)?
Thank you
