I was wondering if anyone juices kiwis whole?

I've read you can, but the fuzz itches my throat and mouth if I consume it. Your mileage may vary.

I'm with streetsurfer on this one. Fuzz would be unpleasant. I am going to order a couple of kiwi plants this autumn. They do ok in our climate apparently. May need to give a little frost protection in the worst of winters.

I've juiced them in my Breville but they come out as kiwi "sauce" in my Omega :-)

Never tried it but maybe you could put them in a blender add a little water and then strain. Not too much water though or it will weaken the taste too much.
I've got some kiwis in the refrigerator. Maybe I'll try it.
Also, you can cut them in half and spoon or squeeze out the pulp.
Update:
Okay, I cut 5 kiwis in half and spooned out the pulp into the blender.
Added 200ml of cold water.
Blended it and then passed it through a sieve.
It made about 450ml of juice. The sieve didn't help much and it ended up being a thick juice. Therefore it's probably not the best thing to juice during a juice fast.

I use my Vitamix to juice. I was wondering about the kiwi since there are nutrients in the skin or just under the skin that I would like to get to. I guess I will try it the next time I have kiwi's and report back. Thanks for all of your help!

Thanks for trying it! I use a nut milk bag to strain my juice and I would add the kiwi's when I was juicing other fruits/veggies as well. I am still going to try it and report back.

I wonder if you could shave the fuzz off first? :P

Yes, good idea! I was thinking of running a micro-grater over them to see if I could get a lot of the fuzz off first.

There is a variety we get here in the shops that is called golden kiwi. They have less fuzz.

I juiced some with skins on today and because I filter my juice through a herbal tea strainer I have no fuzz issues :)

I juice kiwi with other produce in juices all the time. I just cut off the hard ends and juice the whole thing. Never had an issue. It adds a lovely flavour to fruit and green juices!

Goes really well with lime as long as they are properly ripe - I wish it was easier to buy ripe fruit.
